Wake Forest is off to a great 4-0 start and they have not played just cream puffs with wins over Duke and Indiana. However, they are big 11-point road underdogs facing NC State. That is not surprising since they have lost their last 2 match ups with them by a combined score of 77-30.
NC State should be well rested for this Game coming off a bye week. They have a solid and well-balanced offense that ranks in the top 40 in the nation in both passing and rushing yards per Game. They will be facing a Wake defense that ranks 20th in the nation only giving up an average of 16.5 ppg, but gave up a whopping 611 total yards in the win over Indiana.
Wake Forest scored a huge road win in their last Game beating Indiana 33-28 and covering as a 7-point underdog. NC State beat Old Dominion 49-22 in their last Game covering the spread as a 24.5-point favorite.
