NFL Week 9 Selections

Here we go around the NFL and offer a selection on each Game with a comment or two, as well as some best bets for the week. Take this weeks selections with a grain of salt. As a result of Hurricane Sandy and power outages (still out here at Bettorsworld) we really couldn’t put the time in. Good LUck this week!
Broncos -4 over Bengals – Our model likes the Broncos by by 3 touchdowns while other methods we use suggest the Bengals at home keep it close and perhaps win straight up. We’ll go with Peyton and Our model here.
Cardinals +10 over Packers – We’ve given up on the Cardinals as eing anything more than a mediocre team but we have to take the +10 in this spot. Too many points.
Dolphins -1.5 over Colts – Best Bet – The Colts yards per point number on offense is is 19, very bad. The Dolphins defensive number is 20, very good. Also note the Colts -10 in turnover differential. With the number here just -1.5 this one is a no brainer. Our model also likes the Fins by a touchdown.
Ravens -3.5 over Browns – The Ravens just a shell of their former selves. But expect them to bouNCe back after blow out loss to Texans. What remains of the Ravens defense should be able to stop the anemic Browns.
Texans -10 over Bills – Be careful here. Naturally, the whole world is on the Texans. More so than usual after blowing the doors off the Ravens. But it’s the only way to look. Our model says 51-17 Texans.
Redskins -3 over Panthers – Panthers just can’t put the ball in the end zone. Also -5 in turnover differential to the Skins +7.
Jags +4.5 over Lions – Don’t trust either of these teams as a favorite. So we’ll back the home dog.
Bears -3.5 over Titans – Best Bet – This number is too low, thanks to consecutive close Games against bad teams for the Bears. But hey, the Titans just lost to the Colts!
Vikings +4 over Seahawks – Seahawks won just one Game all year by more than 4.
Bucs +1.5 over Raiders – Best Bets – Wrong team is favored here.
Giants -3.5 over Steelers – Best Bet – They don’t play the Games on paper, but on paper, the Giants should DESTROY the Steelers
Falcons -4 over Cowboys – Best Bet – Speaking of destroying. This is one of the leagues best against one of the leagues worst. This should be a Sunday Night BLOWOUT
