Cowboys

Browns

NFL Pick

11/6/16

The Browns remain winless. They’re clearly the worst professional team in Cleveland right now. So Cleveland, enjoy your Cavaliers and Indians because the Browns stink. “Stink” may be an overstatement in that the Browns are actually competitive. They really do try, but they are lacking the offensive talent to WIN football Games.

Terrelle Pryor has been a true bright spot for the Browns. The Browns suffered at wide receiver after learning Josh Gordon was entering rehab and Corey Coleman broke his hand. With that being said they’re still 0 and 8 so do they stink? Well, no, but they do smell bad.

Two rookie quarterbacks had quite the dual. One was taken as the second overall pick and one drafted in the 4th round of last year’s NFL draft… who do you think won? Dak Prescott and the Cowboys were able to pull out an overtime victory against the Eagles thus creating a little space in the NFC East.

Prescott didn’t look amazing, but he connected with Dez Bryant enough to show why Bryant should still be considered an elite receiver when healthy. Elliott continued to do what he has done all year and that is produce! He may not have gotten into the endzone, but Elliot has just been a production MAChine. Credit that to his coaching staff, offensive line, but most importantly to his will to succeed. The guy plays the Game with passion and approaches it as a workhorse. I’m not so certain he will have a heavy workload against the Browns though. I’d look for Alfred Morris to factor into the Game a little more. There’s no real need to force Elliot to absorb a lot of hits if the Cowboys jump out to an early lead.

The Cowboys will be a 7-point favorite on the road against Cleveland.

Our Pick – Cowboys -7
