Cowboys

vs.

Steelers

Week 10

NFL Pick

11/13/16

The matchup between the Cowboys and Steelers is phenomenal on paper. The only question is, will it live up to the potential? Dallas has been fascinating all season. They are led by a pair of rookies — Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott — who seem to do no wrong. They hold a 2-Game lead in the NFC East with their near-perfect 7-1 record and are threatening to run away with the division if they keep up the winning ways. Pittsburgh has a disappointing 4-4 record. They are, however, tied for the lead in the AFC North. Things have been a little shaky with Ben Roethlisberger’s knee injury and three straight losses after a 4-1 start. The Cowboys are a 2.5-point road underdog, and the 5Dimes Sportsbook has the over/under at 50 for this Game.

Prescott and Elliott have been about as consistent as anyone could possibly ask. Prescott is completing about two out of every three passes and has thrown for 2,020 yards, 12 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Elliott has simply gone out and performed to such a level that he leads the NFL in rushing yards at 891. He’s reached the end zone seven times on the ground and is the only running back in the league averaging over 100 yards per Game at 111.4.

The Cowboys are running up over 411 yards per Game, third-best in the NFL. The diversity of this offense is seemingly just going to get better and better as well. Jason Witten and Cole Beasley have both been good with Prescott, but as Dez Bryant continues developing chemistry with him this team will be more difficult to contain.

Pittsburgh only ranks 24th in yards allowed per Game, so it should prove to be a good offensive Game for Dallas — as it has been all season.

Ben Roethlisberger was back this past week after sitting out from his meniscus injury. He didn’t look like the usual Big Ben, though. He only completed 51% of his passes at a 5.87-yard clip per attempt.

Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown were contained last week as well. But they are always a threat to break out.

Dallas is decent defensively, but not great. They should be sound enough to give Pittsburgh problems if the Steelers are not on top of their Game.

Our Pick – Cowboys +2.5
