Oakland Raiders (6-8 SU 4-8-2 ATS) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (12-2 SU 10-4 ATS)
The Raiders have lost two in a row and with their last loss they fell out of the playoff picture. They had a win in their grasp in their last Game, but Derek Carr fumbled reaching for the end zone late in their last Game. Oakland has been one of the bigger disappointments this season after winning the AFC West last season and they only rank 22nd in the league in ppg and 19th in points against.
At 5 dimes sportsbook the Eagles are the 10-point favorite with a total of 47.5.
Many though the Eagles’ season was lost when Carson Wentz went-down with a season-ending knee injury, but backup Nick Foles showed he can lead the team passing for Four TD in their last Game. Philadelphia has already cliNChed a first round bye and with a win or a Minnesota Vikings loss they will wrap up home field advantage. They have the highest scoring team in the league and while they rank a legit 8th in the league in points against the GAve up 29 points to a 2-win Giants team in their last Game.
These teams have not faced each other since the 2013 season.
The Raiders are 4-1 ATS in their last five Games facing the Eagles.
In their last Game the Raiders were at home and they lost to the Dallas Cowboys 20-17. They were out-GAined 330 yards to 293 yards and while they forced two turnovers and only had one the one was costly with the late fumble on the goal line. Derek Carr was 21/38 for 171 yards with two TD and no INT Seth Roberts was his main target with 52 receiving yards. Like the Raiders season RB Marshawn LyNCh had been like the Raiders’ season in a disappointment, but he has put together some solid Games in his last few and in the loss to the Cowboys he rushed for 76 yards averaging a legit 4.8 yards per carry.
While Philadelphia ranks 1st in the league defending the run they only rank 22nd defending the pass and they GAve up 429 passing yards in their last Game.
The Eagles were in the Big Apple to take on the New York Giants in their last Game where they won 34-29 despite giving up 504 yards. They forced the Game’s only turnover and had 341 yards, but allowed New York to convert 10 of their 18 3rd downs. Foles was great in his first start taking over for the injured Wentz passing for 237 yards with Four TD and no picks and Four players had at least 40 receiving yards. Philly rushed for 108 yards with Jay Ajayi rushing for 49 of them and he also had two catches for 40 yards.
The Eagles will be going up against a Raiders defense that ranks 23rd against the pass and 15th against the run.

Jason’s Pick: The Eagles’ defense struggled in their last Game, but back at home they will play better. They can wrap up home field advantage with a win and they will do just that beating Oakland handily and covering the 10-point spread.
