Redskins

vs.

Cowboys

Week 13

NFL Pick

11/30/17

By: Jason Green

The Redskins had lost two in a row before winning their last Game and they have the same record as the Cowboys with the loser likely out of the playoff race. Washington had given up 38 and 34 points in their two losses before their last Game where they held the New York Giants to only 10 points. The Skins are led by Kirk Cousinsl, who leads the 11th ranked passing offense and overall the team ranks 12th in the NFL in ppg.

At 5 dimes sportsbook this Game is a PICK with a total of 44.

The Cowboys have lost their last three Games and they were embarrassed at home in their last Game on Thanksgiving no less. Their offense has fallen flat, as in their three-Game skid they have failed to Scoredouble digits oNCe and have totaled only 22 points. Dallas has hit the skids moving the ball without the suspended Ezekiel Elliot and Dak Prescott has not taken up the slack.

Earlier this season in the Nation’s Capital the Cowboys beat the Redskins 33-19, but that was with Elliot, who had `150 rushing yards in the Game.

The road team is 7-0 ATS in the last seven Games between these NFC East rivals.

In their last Game, which was on Thanksgiving, the Redskins beat the New York Giants 20-10. The Skins dominated the G-Men out-GAining them 323 yards to 170 yards and the only TD New York had was a Cousins pick-6. Washington had a balanced offense and they ran the ball well and held the Giants to 2/14 on 3rd down conversions. Cousins passed for 242 yards with 2 TD and the pick-6 and Jamison Crowder was the star of the Game with 141 receiving yards with a TD. Samaje Perine got off to a slow start, but finished strong and had 100 rushing yards and had a long of 16 yards.

Dallas only ranks 24th in the league in points against and they have given up at least 27 points in each of their last three Games.

The Cowboys would like to forget about their last Game where they were in the Big D on turkey day and got beaten badly 28-6 at the hands of the L.A. Chargers. Dallas had two turnovers, were out-GAined 515 yards to 247 yards, and they GAve up 434 passing yards. Prescott passed for only 179 yards with no TD and 2 INT and in the Cowboys 3-Game losing streak he has no passing TD’s and has been picked off five times. Dallas only rushed for 79 yards in the Game and Alfred Morris and Rod Smith have to help Prescott out in this Game, as the last few have shown he cannot solely carry the team with his arm.

Dallas will be facing a Washington defense that ranks 19th in the league against the pass and 15th against the run.

The Redskins are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 road Games, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 Games after a straight up win, and in their last 28 road Games the Over record is 20-8.

The Cowboys are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home Games, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Games against a team with a losing record, and in their last 4 Games they have an Under record of 4-0.

Jason’s Pick: The Cowboys are reeling and their offense has more than sputtered in the last three Games. Cousins and the Skins will take advantage of that, as they will keep the Dallas offense in check and they will get the W and keep their slight playoff hopes alive.
