Here are this week’s NFL score predictions from our model. These predictions are utilizing data from last season. As each week goes by, we integrate data from the current season until four weeks have been played. At that point, the predictions use data from the current season only.
As a handicapper, these early-season predictions can still be useful. Obviously, predictions for teams with lots of turnover or teams missing key players from last season have to be discarded. However, when teams are relatively intact from a year ago, these predictions can give you a good idea of how the game will play out.
As the season progresses, these predictions get stronger and stronger. Personally, I’d never bet on an NFL game without checking to see what the model says. You should do the same!!
