With only a few Games left in the regular season Kentucky has a better record than Georgia? While 3 of 4 of the Bulldogs losses have come against ranked teams they lost to Vanderbilt a couple of Games back and that Game was at home no less. They need 2 more wins to make a bowl Game and they still face a top 10 team in Auburn and Georgia Tech in their season finale. They have only scored a total of 27 points in losing their last 2 Games.
since getting crushed by Alabama, Kentucky has won 3 in a row and they are at 5 wins, but their end of season Schedule is a tough one. Besides facing Georgia they still have to play Tennessee and Louisville in their season finale. UK has been solid on both sides of the field in their winning streak, where they did not face a team with a winning record, and they have a legit rushing attack that ranks 30th in the nation in rushing yards per Game.
Last season at Georgia the Bulldogs mauled the Wildcats winning 27-3.
Georgia lost to a top 25 Florida team at home in their last Game 24-10 where they did not cover the spread as a 7-point underdog.
Kentucky won their 3rd in a row in their last Game beating Missouri on the road 35-21 covering as a 7.5-point underdog.
Georgia’s offense could not get going in their last Game facing Florida where they only had a total of 164 yards and they only rushed for a grand total of 21 yards. QB Jacob Eason has not been picked off in his last 2 Games, but in losing 4 of 5 Games he only 5 passing TD. RB Nick Chubb has struggled mightily in the last 2 Games where he has only totaled 60 yards and averaged 2.5 yards per carry in each Game.
The Wildcats don’t have a great defense and they have really struggled against the run where they only rank 89th in the nation on run D.
In their win over Missouri the Wildcats’ offense racked up 582 total yards and they rushed for 377 yards. QB Stephen Johnson has 4 TD in his last 2 Games and only 1 INT and RB’s Barry Snell Jr. and Stanley Williams each had at least 182 rushing yards in the win over Mizzou.
Georgia does rank a legit 13th in run defense and if they can keep the Wildcats from rushing for a ton of yards on the ground they should be in good shape.
