If you simply looked at the stats, Wake Forest appears to be world beaters. But of course, the stats don’t always tell the story. Certainly Wake Forest looks good. But look at who they have played. Virginia, Florida State, Norfolk State and Old Dominion.
Not that Louisville has played the toughest schedule either. They too, beat Florida State along with UCF and Eastern Kentucky. Last week they lost to 43-24.
You can see from the recent history that these two have played some wild games. Last year the Cards won 45-21 so that sets up a revenge spot for Wake Forest.
But this will be the Demon Deacons toughest test to date and we think that shows up on the scoreboard in the way of a game decided by less than a touchdown. We’ll take the TD with the Cards.
