The Eagles host the Giants on Sunday Night football this week in an NFC East matchup that at one point this season, looked as though it would be a dud yet now has turned into a huge Conference clash, thanks to the Giants rattling off 3 consecutive wins. The Giants cleaned house on the offensive side of the ball this year, brought in a new coordinator who implemented a new scheme and proceeded to come out of the GAte with an 0-2 start scoring just 14 points in each of their first two Games. Fans questioned the move and it looked as though the Giants had made a huge mistake. The Giants then won 3 in a row, scoring 30, 45 and 30 points while only giving up 17, 14 and 20 and suddenly the Giants are right back in the thick of things.
The Eagles are 4-1 and while no one is questioning their offense, they are questioning their defense. The Eagles have had to come from behind several times this year and have given up 26+ points in 4 straight Games, holding only the Jaguars to 17 in Game 1.
The Giants are on a roll on both sides of the ball right now. This Eagles defense seems made to order for Eli Manning as he should have an absolute field day with the Eagles secondary.
