Arizona Cardinals (3-3 SU 1-5 ATS) vs. L.A. Rams (4-2 SU 3-3 ATS)

The Cardinals have won two of their last three Games and they can pull into a tie with the Rams for first place in the NFC West with a win in this Game. This Game is being held in jolly old England, so there will be no home field advantage. Arizona got into a shootout in their last Game and while they are at .500 they rank dead last in the league in rushing yards per Game and 28th in points against. However, their rushing offense got a big boost signing Adrian Peterson, who had a great debut for the Cardinals.

At 5 dimes sportsbook the Rams are 3-point favorites with a total of 47.

The Rams are one of the bigger surprises so far this season being in first place in their division. They have won three of their last Four Games and L.A. is the highest scoring team in the league averaging 29.8 ppg. Jared Goff is having a solid season after his terrible rookie campaign last season and he ranks 7th in the league in passing yards and only has 3 INT.

Last season these division rivals split the two meetings with each winning on the road.

The Cardinals are 6-2 ATS in their last eight Games facing the Rams and they have covered the spread in their last Four Games against them on the road.

In their last Game the Cardinals beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38-33. Arizona out-GAined the Bucs 432 yards to 414 yards and the withstood a Tampa Bay comeback where they scored 27 points in the 4th quarter. Carson Palmer passed for 283 yards with 3 TD and a pick with the ageless LArry Fitzgerald led the team with 138 receiving yards and a TD. The big player of the Game for Arizona was the new one in AD Adrian Peterson, who went off for 134 rushing yards with 2 TD averaging a legit 5.2 yards per carry in his Cardinals’ debut.

Look for AD to get a heavy workload in this Game facing a Rams’ run defense that only ranks 29th in the league and GAve up 169 rushing yards in their last Game.

The Rams beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-17 in their last Game where they got two special teams’ TD’s. L.A. GAve up 14 points in the first quarter, but then their D shut down the Jags only giving up three points the rest of the Game. The Rams needed those special teams plays, as they were outGAined by 140 yards (389 to 249). Jared Goff only passed for 124 yards, but he had a TD and had limited mistakes not throwing any picks. Todd Gurley’s revitalization continues, as he rushed for 116 yards averaging five yards per carry and he ranks 4th in the league in rushing yards and has rushed for at least 113 yards in three of his last Four Games.

The Cardinals are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Games overall, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Games following a straight up win, and in their last 5 Games the have an Under record of 4-1.

The Rams are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 Games overall, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Games following a straight up win, and in their last 8 Games the Over record is 7-1.

Jason’s Pick: Many though the Cardinals were done when they lost star RB David Johnson, but Adrian Peterson showed he still has some GAs left in his tank and now so do the Cardinals. With AD they have a legit run Game and with Palmer at the helm the offense should be a great one. Look for Peterson to have another big day and Palmer to play well, as the Cardinals will not only cover getting three points, but they will get the W as well.
