Listed below is Our team by team previews of the Big 12 conference. Last year, Baylor was the king of the hill followed by Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. There was then a big drop off in terms of overall wins to Texas with just 8, followed by the rest of the pack in the Big 12.

Things my not change all that much in the pecking order as far as 2014 goes. The Oklahoma Sooners may be in the best shape of all in terms of returning starters, especially on the defensive side of the ball where they return 9.

Texas will be interesting to watch in the post MACk Brown era. Generally, we’d expect a team to initially take a step back anytime they make a coaching change. Replacing a long time favorite like MACk Brown almost always results in a step back, but the Longhorns do have talent.

Baylor will also be interesting to watch to see if their recent success has resulted in the ability to recruit top talent year after year. They return just 4 starters on each side of the ball so they certainly have their work cut out for them.

Our pick to win the Big 12 this year is the Oklahoma Sooners. The oddsmakers appear to have the price right on this one as they are favored to win the Conference at odds of -130 at 5 dimes sportsbook.

The Sooners have their eyes set on the college football playoff and a national championship with 14 starters back and are among the picks of many experts to have a successful season.

2014 Kansas State Football Betting Preview with Odds and ScheduleFor Bill Synder’s Kansas State team, it usually doesn’t matter how many players he’s returning, or even who’s returning. His teams usually fight with anyone on their Schedule no matter how the season is going.

2014 Iowa State College Football Betting PreviewThe Cyclones are looking to get back on the winning track after only three wins all of last season. They finished with two straight wins, so they’ll be hoping to build off that.
