The Cincinnati Bengals are licking their wounds after a tough loss to the New York Giants. After taking the lead in the 3rd quarter, the Bengals’ offense was non-existent. The Giants GAmbled late in the Game on Fourth down and it paid off as Eli Manning threw his 3rd touchdown of the Game which would ultimately be the Game winning score.
In a battle of elite receivers, Odell Beckham outshone AJ Green in this Game. Beckham was able to reel in 10 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown compared to AJ Green’s 7 catches for 68 yards and a touchdown.
The Bengals’ defense did not play a bad Game. They forced Eli into a few of his typical bad throws. The Bengals converted two of those bad throws into interceptions. The outcome of this Game was dependent upon the Bengals’ offense and they simply let the team down about halfway through the third quarter. It’s not as if the Bengals’ season is over though. They are a Game and a half out of first place in the AFC North. The Bengals can pretty much kiss the wild card spot goodbye, but their chance to win the division is still legitimate.
The Buffalo Bills were on a bye in Week 10. This was a much-needed bye as the team has been struggling recently under the Ryan brothers. The Bills are currently in 3rd place in the AFC East. Due to the AFC West being so strong this year, it will be tough on the Bills to make the playoffs. They can probably afford one more loss before their season is essentially over.
The Bills have plenty of talent on their team, but have been missing Sammy Watkins. He is eligible to practice this week, but it’s doubtful that he will be seen in Week 11. After winning Four Games in a row, the Bills have dropped their last three.
